Bunch of tweaks & improvements


Howdy,

Version 0.2 brings the following improvements:

  • Now you can die 🍆
  • Stage Boss:
    • Added a red trace showing the direction of the upcoming rush special attack. It should help avoid it.
    • It now has a few hitboxes that match more or less its body (non-transparent pixels ;)) in the sprite. It used to be a single, giant, hitbox. And it was bad.
  • Some performance tweaks (mostly around enemy scaling with power level); I don’t think it will help much with performance on older/low-end devices though. More performance improvements will be done at a later point
  • Tweaked how enemy batches are spawned. For instance, now they shouldn’t appear within viewport bounds and enemies should be placed in a more “sparse” manner
  • Added a few new animations here and there
